A No-Fault Life

musings upon a slight contretemps. I have been thinking about back when "9 to 5" jobs were commonplace, and Corporate America actually recruited people to be office slaves and cogs in the wheel.

I had a minor disagreement with a friend, on the telephone the other day; and this thought came in to my mind a few days later.

What if we were to make an attempt to live our lives, without blame, shame, or guilt? Finding fault with others, and ourselves is counter-productive.

I feel as if I try to live according to high ideals, perhaps I am reaching for the stars, but there is no harm in having ideals and striving to be a better person.

No, I am not saying a person should be a "Pollyanna" or

a "Ray of Sunshine" 24/7!

What I am trying to say, is live a "no fault" life.
This means to me, not to be completely blameless; but don't blame people for things that cannot be helped or that are relatively insignificant in the larger point of view.

Some people have said, in order to put things in to perspective, think about how important something would be 100 years from now.

I believe that things like leaving the Earth a better place for those who come after us is important, and one way to do that is to be a better person now.

I have my moments of self-doubt, and can feel as if I am laying a 'guilt trip' on myself, and can 'beat myself up' for insignificant things.

Live a No-Fault life, and you will feel better about yourself, and others.

Off Soapbox. pushing the podium away.

Talk later. Starsib.
